Cyber bullying can happen to anyone. Bullies can act anonymously if they want and even in groups such as class groups or collective members of an online community.
SOSO is an initiative started by NAPCAN to help tackle these issues of cyber bullying. SOSO stands for Smart Online, Safe Offline and is all about doing the right thing when you're online. This can be anything from not giving out personal information to strangers on the net OR dealing with and recognising cyber bullies online.
It can appear in all kinds of different forms. Cyber bullying is when a person is harassed, humiliated, embarrassed or threatened by another person who is using the net or their mobile phone. They could be using Instant messenger, Chat, social networks, forums, websites or by text.
