hi! omg! i took the confirm clearly 2 days ago and it came back positive, i was freaking out b/c i hava a 5 month old baby. before i told my husband i wanted to be for sure that i was pregnant so i took 3 more test. I took 2 of the test that digitally say "pregnant" or "not pregnant" and they both came back negative. then i took an Early Response and it was negative too. I think the confirm clearly is not as trust-worthy as the "line" pregnancy tests b/c its a little light that lights up not a line that appears...anyone else have this problem??

Hi Rita ... It is possible to get a false negative, but not possible to get a false positive, as there has to be a certain level of pregnancy hormone in your urine, to enable a positive reading.

One possibility is that you may have been pregnant, started bleeding and the baby passed on. It takes a while for the pregnancy hormone to decrease, so ... the second time you took the test, it was still elevated ... and the third time you took the test, it had declined sufficiently for a negative reading.

Another possibility would be that you could have had a tubal pregnancy ... you got a positive reading, your tube burst, and thus bleeding began and a couple days later ... you got the false reading on the pregnancy test. Although some women are in excruciating pain when their tube bursts ... this is not always the case. My ovary burst and hemorrhaged, and I felt nothing but a dull ache on my left side. My OB/GYN was surprised, as most women as bent over in terrible pain.

You really need to see a OB/GYN as soon as possible hun ... this is not anything to fool around with ... and take guesses at. If your problem is one of the above that I mentioned, it needs to be taking care of asap ... it could lead to sterility, if prompt action isn't taken. I hope everything works out for you ... wishin' you the best ........
