I have three female dwarf hamsters in a cage, how much food should I give them?

My three female dwarf hamsters eat whatever food I put in their cage. I have just been refilling the bowl when it gets empty, but I don't want them to get fat, so how much hamster food should I give them?

feed them in the morning and at night, 1-2 tablespoons per hamster. if one is hogging all the food then u may want to consider seperate bowls if you have room.

only feed them once a day and when you do you might want to separate them because you never know if they all eat or if one didnt get any food

I have 3 dwarf hamsters as well in the same cage.... What i do is when the bowl gets empty I just fill it back up.... I read on the internet that a hamster will eat just what it wants... That a hamster wont over feed itself... As long as you have a wheel or something that your hamsters can get in and excirse you should do fine.... I go threw a bag of food every week cuz I have 2 new born babies, 2 female hamsters and 1 male... lol I hope i was a help to you...

dwarf hamster dont over eat. besides, a fat dwarf hamster is way cuter than a regular dwarf hamster. haha

ahahaha to anonymous.

I would say, one handful of food, three times a day for each hamster, and the rest, fresh fruits and veggies,

sparingly on nuts and seeds, dried fruits for treats.

Full up the bowl when u get up in the morning. they should not need to eat to much. If your scared about your hamsters getting fat put in there bowl carrots veggies and stuff like that. that way your hamsters wont get fat, but they dont need more than a bowl a day. We have 3 rats and they dont eat more then a bowl. hamsters eat about the same amount them a rat. That way your sue your hamsters will be healthy and wont be over eating also dwarf hamsters dont over eat they only eat when they need to. just make sure they have toys and maybe a weel that he could run in to keep it in good shape.(even if some people think that there cutter fat and maybe they are, its not good for them and could make them sick ) so i dont suggest that u make it go fat.
