Im starting a clothing line, silkscreening, and i just bought adobeindesign cs2, i can draw good, but i cant?

draw everything i really want to design, is that the right software? or should i do something else?help!!

I have my own clothing line and I also silkscreen all my designs myself.

There are two programs you will need to run your business:

1) Adobe Photoshop CS2 (Photo Editing Program)

2) Adobe Illustrator (Vector Program)

I actually suggest also having:

3) Corel Draw 12 (Vector Program)

Basically what you will need to do is draw your design out by hand, edit it in Photoshop, then process it in Illustrator or Corel Draw.

What Illustrator and Corel draw do is turn your design into a "math equation" so you can resize it without losing quality.

I prefer Corel Draw because it comes with a Trace program that you can click and it will automatically turn your design into a vector "math equation".

I am thinking of doing the same thing. I used to do screen printing for a big company after I finished university. Then I tried to start a business with my cousins. With family they are personality clashes. I wanted the company to go one way and they had their own ideas, so I left. I got into the car sales and service business and did that since 1989. I had an accident last year and Now no will will hire me because of this new disability I have so I am trying to start my own business to help support my family. I am not getting much help with the community I'm in(small town) and I am waiting to hear if I can get some government assistance.
