Some women don't start showing until they are close to 6 months along. Most-likely nothings wrong, but if you're really worried, then ask your doc at your next appt.

If this is your first you shouldn't expect to really start showing untill closer to 20 weeks. Be patient you have a while to go.

I am in my 19th week and barely showing, just started to have a little pooch and if a person did not know me they could not tell that I am preggy, I still go to the pool in my normal bikini undetected. I know how you feel though, I am getting impatient myself...I want to actually look pregnant! But I think a lot has to do with the fact that your body is still nice and tight with your first pregnancy and that the belly takes a while to show. Also, I am not that sure but maybe your prepregnancy weight and shape has something to do with wether you show earlier or later... everyone is different. I have always been petite and thin, so I am not sure if that is why I don't show yet at nearly 5 months?!?! Hey, but as long as your doc says that everything is fine with the baby, then don't worry so much about it, the belly will be there before we know it and I don't know about you, but I will be happy not havin to stick out mine on purpose anymore LOL :-)
Good luck to you and congrats !!!

Unless you eat a ton of food in that 12 weeks you aren't going to look pregnant for awhile. I didn't show till I was 6 months along with my second one. Can't remember on the first.

Everyone shows a different times. Don't worry, unless the baby is not moving. Then if so Check with your Doctor right away. God bless you and your baby.

NO- most woman get just a small "pouch" until they get to around 20 wks when the baby is fully grown and just starting to put on weight and continue to grow!
However if this is your first pregnancy then you may not show until much further along. I weighed 100 lbs when I got pregnant for my first and I only appeared as if I swallowed a basketball! So not to worry, when you are with your doctor the next appt be sure to ask him about it.

I ddin't show till I was 4 or 5 months preg. It's ok, it's just how your body is. Love the fact that you don't have to buy the clothes that are bigger than you ever thought you'd be caught dead in. You'll get there, and then you'll glow. Congrats!

Absolutly nothing to worry about. if you are fit and healthy there is a good chance you have nice strong ab muscles and they are holding everything in place nicely. If you are carry extra weight you may not notice any change for a while yet. my first i didnt show till 5 months, second i didnt show till 4-5 months and this time was about the same. enjoy still being able to fit into your normal clothes while you can, by the end you will probably be glad to get rid of the belly.first babies usually show later anyway.

I'm rather large framed and began showing at five and a half months. If you are really worried about it, talk to your doctor.

When I was first pregnant I would of given my life to not have looked like I was pregnant.... doin't worry about it.
If you are eating right and excercising doing your what your have always done then be glad you don't have stretch marks or a big Jaba the Hut belly...

If it's your first baby, one usually doesn't start showing until the 2nd trimester. Your doctor would have told you if there was anything to be worried about.

Go to americanbaby.com and you'll see how tiny the baby actually is at this point. In fact,it's so small that you might feel a little ridiculous to BE showing @ this stage!Good luck and congrats!!

You should remember this moment, because when you are in the 7th-9th month that's when you will be going down memory lane, remembering when you had a flat tummy. There is nothing wrong, as the baby grows so will your belly.

You shouldn't be showing yet. With my first I didn't start showing until I was five or six months. With my second I started showing at 3 or 4 months. Everything is fine, if you are still concerned I would call your doctor. You are only supposed to gain 1 lb in your first 3 months.

Nope. Right now your baby is probably barely an inch long so no wonder you're not showing yet. It also has a lot to do with your pre-pregnancy size and shape. Many girls, including myself, who are slim and petite don't start showing until months 5 or 6 and then it looks like they swallowed a basketball. Other girls don't ever show mainly because they were larger to begin with. Some people show right away. That's the most important thing to learn during pregnancy. Each and every pregnancy is different and unique. Good luck and congrats!
