topical medications can take as long as 6-8 weeks before you start to notice any improvement. Make sure you use your medications as directed by your dermatologist.

You should start seeing an improvement in about two weeks, but you have to keep using it. Rosacea is incurable but it is treatable. Best wishes.

It is a slow process. If you use it as directed - you will notice a slight change in a few weeks time. Metrogel helps, but does not rid you of the redness by any means. My doc also gave me a facial wash with sulfur in it that helps....might want to look into that. This might sound odd - but the thing that has helped my face the most is the Bare Esscentials (Bare Minerals) make-up. Yes, that's right, the one from the infomercial. I would have never thought to try it - but another friend of mine with rosacea got it and tried it and I noticed a huge difference in her skin. I asked what she had done, and Bare Esscentials was her answer. I bought it the next day and have been using it since. Give it a shot!
