Candy of course lol, for boys they sale little cars like hotwheels but cheaper they come in a bag of like 8 also snakes, and spin tops boys love those things. Girls like the little rings, that also come in bags of multiples, you could do little coloring pads for both with like the little crayon packs with like 4 crayons in a box bubbles, tattoos, sun glasses those are really cheap and all the kids are usually into those they have them in the party isle also for like a buck. Man I have so many ideas I love Bday parties.

I am a stay at home dad who has planned many b day parties for my boys 7 and 15 Just remember to include things that they can interact with such as squirt guns, small cars you put together, fishing gear such as plastic worms and bobbers, cards UNO or go fish. Think like a kid but entertain don't put things like noise makers or tops, get real if they have something they like they will actually play with it for longer than 2 minutes and you haven't waisted your money.

My son's birthday party was last week, and I don't do the whole candy-filled loot bags.

They had little cheap animal frame sunglasses in there, jungle animal finger puppets, decorated pencil and a little notepad, stickers, temporary tattoos and a glow stick. Then I threw in a sucker and a pack of fruit juice snacks you can get by the poptarts at the store.

I always hate the easily breakable junk in most goody bags. They cost the parents a fortune and most of it is broken before we've even gotten home. I prefer to pick one nice thing, like a train whistle for a train party and the rest is candy.

Since yours is a reptile party, could do a lizard coloring book, game, or stamps and stamp pad, and the rest could be gummy worms and candy.
