Anyone ever hung wedding drapes?
I am trying desperately to come up with a way to decorate my gymnasium for my wedding reception. The new idea is to buy isle runners (since they come in such long lengths) and drape them from the ceiling. Have any of yall ever draped fabric from your reception halls ceilings? And does anyone have any advice they can give on how I can drape mine at my reception? Thanks!
Additional Details
I would love to be able to pay someone!! I called a guy the other day and he quoted me a price of $3,000. WHOA!
I'm on a super tight budget!

we did that for a friends wedding but contact the place you are holding some places will not let you poke holes in there building if you are then i say get a staple gun and do that it isn't as hard as it looks to be you start in the center and staple it then if you are only doing ceilings let it bubble 1/2 way then go to the end and let it end there if you want it to go to the floor just staple to the corner then let the rest drape down now here is a thing to pay attention are you going to be able to get ladders to do this and you might want to invest in getting material at a Jo an fabric and buy by the yard due to fabric tends to be larger aka longer vs a isle runner and you will have less material and sections to do like if you have a 1 foot isle runner vs a 3 feet long of material then you can measure the area and figure 3 feet for each bubble down and have them cut it for you if you are just attempting to cover the celling why not get a tarp or some cheep material to cover the celling and then buy balloons and fill them an let them add wedding colors to your room an it will more then likely be more affordable but onlydonw fall balloons only last 8 hrs latex
