Has anyone ever taken Methyldopa (Aldomet) and Norvasc while pregnant?

Please give me some feedback - my doctor put me on these 2 medications for my high blood pressure and because I plan to start a family soon. I trust my doctor but still scared. Has anyone ever taken this medicines throughout the entire pregnancy? Please let me know.

my wife took norvasc it worked like a charm but go to the doctor before taking anything if your pregnant thats what we did and he said it was ok but go to the doctor

You should seek a second opinion. norvasc is a category C drug...not recommended during pregnancy. BUT you don't want to have a stroke from high blood pressure during pregnancy (or ever).
