I am in your shoes. After I had my first 5 yr. ago, I got insomnia, always worrying that I wouldn't hear the baby's cry if I am in the deep sleep. So the doc prescribed Unisom, you get it over the counter. I am now 18 weeks preg. again and the doc. told me not only it helps with my sleep but it controls the nausea as well. It is OK when preg.

I was in the same situation and I was told no by the doctor. Regular tylenol was ok but not the PM kind.
Try some chamomile tea just before bed that might help a little.

You are allowed to take Unisom. You can check on babycenter.com. It is often used to treat nausea also although I guess you can't feel sick if you're asleep. I would just take half, enough to get you asleep.

I was told by my doctor that unisom is okay. it was a life saver for me. It really helps you go to sleep and once I went to sleep after taking it...I was out and there was no waking me up.

You have to ask your Dr but I wouldn't take them..its not worth the risk even if it's a small one. My Dr's said no to anything like that during all 3 of my pregnancies.
