Can you Take percocet after you took Demerol?
I took Demerol like 6 hrs ago should I take a percocet now?

Not if you plan on taking any more Demerol! Try not to mix your drugs, hon. You could accidently forget what you have taken and kill yourself. Just stick to one or the other. Please!~

NOT a good idea. If you're in that much pain, contact your doctor. And NEVER mix meds!

As long as you have a prescription for both medications and the doctor knows you are taking both go ahead and take it.Just make sure you have at least 4-6 hours between doses of either drug.Never take both at once.

You'll be fine when I was in the emergency room they gave me a shot of demerol and two hrs later gave me two percocet to take, and I was fine.

You can, and if you're in a lot of pain, the percocet should help more then the demerol, as oxycodone is stronger than meperidine, though, depending on if you're taking any other medications, for example, hydroxyzine, as its known to boost the effectivness of meperidine. You'd probably be better off with the percocet though, since it will provide more pain relief and less of a high, ie... it will do what its supposed to do better.
