Wellbutrin -VS- Zoloft???

Question

My boyfriend started Zoloft three weeks ago, well the sexual side effects hit him very quickly, within day of starting it. Well he swited to Wellbutrin just a few days ago hoping the sexual side effects go away. He said while on Zoloft that things kind of we numb down below and had trouble having getting to that point, the big "O". Well it has been causing some tension in our relationship. Has anyone switched meds as he did, please give me your advice or personal experiences....PLEASE

Sexual dysfunction is a common and a rather ironic side effect for many antidepressants and many patients do switch medications because of it so he is not alone.

Most medications like this will have that side effect. It sucks but I dont think it will be easy for him to find a medication like this that wont have a sexual side effect. But it is probably more important if he just stays on one and gets the help that he needs from it...
