Is Cyclobenzaprine a benzodiazepine?
Will it show up in drug testing?
Best Answer - Chosen by Voters
No it is not a benzodiazepine. Even though the benzodiazepines do have skeletal muscle relaxant properties of their own, cyclobenzaprine exerts its effects by a different mechanism. And given it's chemical structure/metabolites, I'm very certain it will NOT show up on any urine screening. (It's structure is closer to Amitryptyline (Elavil) than any benzodiazepine.)

Cyclobenzaprine is not a benzodiazepine.
It will not test positive in a urinalysis for benzodiazepines.
I have given you links with a description of cyclobenzapine and the benzodiazepines. The latter has a list of all benzodiazepines.
