Lorazepam is a benzodiazipine and similar to alpazolam (Xanax). It does list changes in appetite as one of the adverse reactions. Also listed are nausea and abdominal discomfort. Any of these could cause loss of appetite. It is given for anything from anxiety to nausea and vomiting for cancer. The most important side effects to look for are drowsiness and sedation. Be careful driving.
