I have a cold should I take Advil or tylenol?

When I am sick with a fever, aches, etc....I use both Advil/Motrin and Tylenol. Alternate with each every four hours. It really seems to help me. Drink a lot of fluids too!:) I hope you feel better soon!

Tylenol Cold (take the day in the day, and the night in the night). Works like a charm.

I am not familiar with either of these products, but if you want my advice then take some form of over the counter medication to lower your temperature and plenty of vitamin C. Preferably slow releasing tablets of 1000mg dose 2 to 4 times a day, plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables also. As a cold is a virus there is no 'cure' but the more natural way of helping your body's' own defense system will provide a quicker recovery. Vitamin C is one of the best vitamins you can take as it helps your body to metabolize other very useful anti-oxidants. Your body does not store it either, unlike some of the ingredients in man made remedies, any excess will pass through the body when you urinate.
