Xanax vs. Ativan?

Question

I have a 2 mg xanax bar and this pill i can't even find in a pill identifier but my boyfriend says it's ativan but it has no imprints and it's a circle and realllly small like a dot. Does' anyone know the milligram of this pill or know what i'm talking about? what's the difference? My boyfriend is going to pass any day now and I tend to get panic attacks.

If you have panic attacks, you need to talk to your doctor. You don't have to go to a psychiatrist, your primary care physician can prescribe you Xanax. A 2 mg bar is WAY too much to take at once. Don't self-medicate. Go to the doctor.

Do you have prescriptions for any of these medications? If not, do not take them without talking to your doctor. 2 mg is a lot to take at once.

Xanax and Ativan are both benzos, so there isn't too much of a difference in how it should affect you. It sounds like the circle pill is only about .50 mg, which really isn't too much at all.

It sounds like a .5mg ativan. I used to take those. I was also on xanax but my new Dr. took me off them because he said they were too addicting. That is when he put me on ativan which sucks. they don't help at all.

Sounds like the Ativan is either .5 or 1mg from the size you're describing.

okay the small white pill could also be nitro a heart pill ativan which i take has marks on the pill no matter the mgs xanax is way stranger then ativan. and what do you mean you boyfriend is going to pass like passout or pass like die please email me we can talk [e-mail]

ativan is a lower mg than xanax but i don't know what it is. it's probably .5mg
