Is a stuffy nose actually a sign of pregnancy??

I'd never heard of that before but someone listed that under their pregnancy symptoms.. is that true??

Being congested is a common symptom during the second trimester of pregnancy. The increased blood volume in your body can cause the blood vessels in your nose to swell leaving you feeling "stuffy". It can also cause you to snore for the first time in your life too. By the end of you pregnancy your blood volume increases by about 50%.

SO I wouldn't consider a stuffy nose a sign of pregnancy. But yes it is a symptom that can occur at times. It wouldn't be an early symptom at all.

stuffy? no. But when a woman is pregnant, the mucous level rises considerably as does the amount of blood her heart pumps.

not when your first pregnant...but at about week 9 you sometimes do....i looked up pregnancy week by week on google and everything they said i got every week...

I dont think so.......I've never heard of something like this.

It's not a sign of pregnancy, however, later on in pregnancy, when a woman is further along, it is common to have congestion because of the pregnancy. I had it during both of mine. :)

i've heard that it is an effect of pregnancy. but i think you have to be like 4 or 5 months in? it's not an early pregnancy symptom.
