Please suggest some home remedies for cough for my baby who is 1 yr old..?

One spoon honey, Big cardomom powder(1/4th).it should be mixed properly.Feed this to ur baby three times a day.it will help definitely.tested and tried.

a warm mist humidifier does wonders for my son (he gets croup everytime the weather changes). You can even get the kind that has that menthol vapor mist attatchment.

other than that make sure everything stays clean (so she doesn't get ill again) and keep her nice and warm.

try dis one.! thouggh it doent taste musch good but will definitely wrk.
adding a liitle of water make pure ginger juice mixed with honey.
give dis syrup atleast thrice a day.

Crush two pepper balls, add ghee to it , mix well .Gve this to u r baby TWICE a day ,not more than this dose as pepper build up heat in the body.

Is it dry cough or there is phlegm in the chest. For dry cough, do not give any thing heat forming. Try some homoeopathy cough syrup such as stodal or kofeez. they are good. For home remed, try raw zinger juice with honey and few drops of ghee. Add more honey. Ghee will gie soothing effect to the throat.

ya my baby also same problem i kept on giving antibiotics but then his stomach got spoiled.u can give him little honey in the night for cough.for nose block just boil litlle water with a small pinch of salt and keep aside for cooling and just put one -two drops with dropper in his nose.every one hour give him lukewarm water to drink.if u r from india i can give u some home rememdies.

crush ginger and take out some juce and then mix it in one spoon honey and make your baby eat it...
if jinger is heated in fire for some time thats better but little ginger juce with honey is best
