Why does it take 20 min for my brain to tell me that I am full while eating? isn't that to long?

I have never eaten anyting more than 20 min....I mean how slow do you have to go?

This is the same as most people. You need to be able to determine proper portions for yourself.

Being full is simply your brain telling you to stop eating, not that you have eaten enough. This distinction is important, because you have eaten enough before you are full.

We live in a time when food is abundant for most people. Historically, food was rarely abundant, and you might need to stuff yourself if the opportunity arose.

    eat half the portion that you regularly eat. then wait 15-20 mins. if you feel full, then you're done! if not, eat more.
    it takes 15-20 mins for your stomach to alert your brain it's full, dont worry, its completely normal for it to take a while for you to feel full!
