Unlike William e in an earlier post, there ARE free legitimate sites to download music.

Spiral Frog (http://Www.Spiralfrog.com) is a completely free service that includes all of EMI's music available for download.

However, it does not work on Ipods, do to drm.

No such thing as free, legal music, unless released under the creative user license (or something like that) which is what NIN did a short while back. Limewire doesn't give legal music.

torrents, i prefer piratebay.org with azureus downloading client, though i dont understand why you wouldnt use limewire
