Did anyone watch the 2002 birds of prey!?

Question

Did anyone catch the 2002 tv series set in Gotham city called Birds of prey? I believe it was canceled after 13 episodes! Was it any good, and is it worth buying it on dvd?

I only watched one episode and decided not to watch any others, because the episode I saw was so poor I didn't think the show deserved a second chance. Considering how quickly the series was cancelled, I wasn't the only one who was underwhelmed by the series. Wait and see if the DVDs of Birds of Prey get marked down, or wait until they start turning up on eBay and bid conservatively,if you feel that you must watch the defunct series.

By the way, I had read a few issues of the comics upon which the television series was based and, apparently, the comics are much, much better than the television version ever had a chance of becoming.

The girl playing oracle in it was really good- and she filled out a great batgirl suit that gave me a lot of hope. its also got the great alfred in it. and i sorta dug the Huntresses' tongue ring and the editing's attempt to conceal it (you can sorta see where they give up on it- it is sorta funny)

Past that? its a wierd show that didnt find its voice and wasnt really allowed to play it straight- the few minutes it did it was ok. the rest of it was really an attempt to make charmed or gilmore girls with capes.Had they done it straight i think we'da liked it a lot more

but i love that batgirl costume...
