I lied about my degree, shall I leave the job?
well..yes I graduated from IT college but then I told them I followed my college degree with 2 years university...I did it because I know that I'm better than anyone studying there and I just needed the opportunity.. honestly after I received the job I'm feeling really guilty espiceally that I found some people from that university...
the manager is VERY VERY happy with my work ...but still I'm always stressed they would know... I wont get fired but I dont want to appear as lier either... shall I leave my job before they get to know?
Additional Details
for those who cant read.. I didnt steal anyones job and I was getting the job anyways so it was just a flaw I made..

if you are doing well at your work and you think your employer appreciate what you are doing , you can simply tell them the truth and I am sure they will appreciat it...I know it is easy said, but better to be late than never...and think about the future and consequences

- thats what my friend told me too. not easy but I would rather tell them and lose the job than hide it and live the stress..
I did the mistake so I should go and tell the boss , if he doesn't understand at least I wont feel guilty because I did my part

if you need the money, stay, and save as much as you can, while you look for a new job.
You should find a new job before you quit, if possible.
That would be ideal.
If you think that finding a new job would be difficult, i would stay.

You should tell them that you lied, If you don't want to appear as a liar then you shouldn't have lied in the first place. You stole the job from someone who was potentially more qualified than yourself. The right thing to do is tell them that you lied and resign from your position with the company.

Try not to worry because the background check is already completed. Enjoy the job because now you are gaining experience which is also needed for any future jobs. People inflate their resumes, but most can't do the job. You are doing the job and it sounds like you are doing great with it so enjoy it and continue to grow within that job.
