Does trunks go to super saiyan 2?

is it when hes little or a teenager?

If you mean future trunks I would say no he does not go ss2 more or less what happened was Trunks reaches Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Advanced type 2 [the one vegeta used when fighting full power cell], Super Saiyan Advanced type 3, and Powered Super Saiyan.

FutureTrunks goes Super Saiyan - when fighting frieza
Future Trunks goes Super Saiyan Advanced type 2 - when trying to stop imperfect Cell from absorbing 18 its when his hair takes the form of type 3 except his pupils are still visible.
Future Trunks goes Super Saiyan Avanced type 3 - when he fights full power Cell.
Future Trunks at mastered Super Saiyan - its never implied as such but Trunks reaches this level when he fights the androids. Its likely a form relatively similar to the full power but can't be maintained (its like vegeta's form from when he and chibi trunks were training in the buu saga where chibi trunks revealed he can turn ssj)

As for Chibi Trunks aka present trunks he reaches Super Saiyan and masters it.

Trunks didn't go SS2 until he went back to his time and defeated Cell

Ascended Sayian is not actually a SS2. A saiyan's power increases after he is defeated, Trunks was killed by Cell but was wished back at the end of the Cell Saga and that took him to SS2.

Yes, they never directly say he went SS2 but he does. During the Cell Saga, after he trains for a day with Vegeta in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. When his hair gets long. He doest become SS2 as a child or Teen. He is actaully an adult when it happens. Ive seen the WHOLE DB-DBZ-DBGT series ten times over.
