certainly...here is a great way to do it
Take a little flour and dust each side of the chops.
I always use a little salt and pepper in the flour too.
This should be a very light dusting, and makes a nice texture on the chops when you cook them
Put a little oil in the pan, you can use olive oil, butter, veg oil, whatever you like (olive oil is my choice)
heat the pan to med high heat,
lay the chops in flat...and depending on thickness cook for about two to three minutes per side. Most people over cook chops, if you want them nice and tender cook them to med, or med well. the trick is to take them off the heat, and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. It is ok if they are a little bit pink in the middle, but you want clear juices to run out...not pink!
well....enjoy....hope that helps you
for fun you can add spices or dry rub the chops....or any type or marinade you prefer, two hours of marniating is plenty....just season to your liking.

Sure - they taste good cooked in a frying pan. Just make sure the juices run clear and that the insides of the chops are done before you eat! If you want to do a whole pork loin, you can do that too - just cook long and slow. You'll need a fry pan with a cover, though. Flip it a few times just like the chops.

I use this method for most meats.
I start them in a frying pan on a high flame and let the surface on both sides sear and then finish in the oven. Searing develops a nice crust outside and helps keep the inside juicy .

if they are very thin you can fry them. If they are thicker, brown them first and then braise them in stock or some other liquid. I usually brown them, remove them from the pan, fry up some onions and garlic, put the pork chops back in add 1 cup of orange juice, one cup of chicken broth, salt peper and rosemary. I cover the pan and let it simmer on low about 20 minutes or until they are done. You can thicken the sauce with a little cornstarch of flour after the chops are done ( take them out first). My kids love it.

I always use a frying pan, put 1/4 inch water and salt, pepper and what ever in pan and turn on mid high. Put chops in and turn once, then when the water runs out brown both sides.

of course you can, this is the only way that my mom makes them. She season the chops and coat with flour and fry. Then pulls half of them out the pan to leave those fried and she smothers the other half in the pan with gravy and onions and its so good. I like regular fried ones.

Yes, I like fried pork chops.
Use about one or two tablespoon(s) of oil. (I like olive oil, but you can use vegetable oil.) This will help keep the pork from sticking.
Heat the pan with a low-medium heat.
Season your pork to taste. (salt, pepper, garlic, seasoned salt...what ever you like)
Place on pan and fry. The outer edges will brown slightly. Then cut one of the pork chops to see if it is done. (a better way is use a meat thermometer to 160 F...but if you recognize done by eye sight go for it)
***you have to cook pork done. It is not like beef. You have to cook it well done if you don't want to get sick.
It generally take about 15 min depending on how thick. If they are very thin it will take less, if they are thick and meaty it might take more.

You can fry, broil, boil, grill, barbque just make sure it is cooked clear through Pork should always be well done.
After you brown the meat in the frying pan you can add a little bit of water and cover the pan turn the heat down low and let it cook until it is well done.

Of course. They are very good. I eat them all the time. Use a small amout of oil so they don't stick though. Then cook them for like 5 minutes on each side. Yummy.
