Is the book the host better than harry potter???

only if u read both....... watching harry potter movies doesn't count.

i have read twlight and new moon, and i have elcipse and the host on hold at the library. i have read all the harry potter books and i love them!

as much as i thought i liked twlight, it didn't last as long as my love for hp books. i eventually stopped liking it, like it just died away.

new moon on the other hand, wasn't that great, but still ok.

you guys might want to throw these books into the list of ratings if you've read them:

i love those- they're not as romantic as twilight but you ge the smae kind of feeling reading them

Harry Potter might be amateurish, cliched, badly written, etc. But the Host, in my opinion, is even worse. Reading The Host was torture in the first 450 pages. And the ending was silly and predictable. At least the Harry Potter books actually TRY to surprise you. The Host, on the other hand, doesn't even give a crap about it!

Well, Stephanie Meyer is an AMAZING author, but I thought that Harry Potter was a tiny tiny bit better.
They were both exceptional. But personally, I liked the Twilight series better.

okay..my opinion is that the host is a very very very good book

I've read all of those books above other than the host. But several of my friends have read The Host and they've loved it! :]
I suggest reading anything by Stephenie Meyer, I like the Twilight books better than Harry Potter.
