My greatest leap of faith was when I decided to move to Spain. I was divorced (violent marriage, no loss). Had a 21 year old daughter at the time of the decision to move, came home from work after sitting in a traffic jam for an hour, and said to my daughter "that's it I've had enough, let's move to Spain" she agreed and so within months we sold the house, packed everything we could into my car and drove to Southern Spain with 2000 pounds in my pocket (after paying the mortgage and debts off)
that was 1991 and we are still here.........life has been good
(it's not been easy but it has been better than living in the UK)
My daughter is now married to a Spaniard (fantastic guy) has a 6 year old bilingual daughter, whom I adore and I am happy being single. The sun shines every day for us, and we are happy we made that decision to move. At the time the only thing I said was "the worst thing that can happen is that if it fails we will go back".........we never did. So I'm glad I made my leap of faith otherwise I might still be in the traffic jam!!!
After reading alot of these answers it seems to me that more people should takes a leap of faith or a risk like us, but few do. They all moan about how their life sucks, but few do anything about it. My advice to all out there is simply this:
YOU are in control of what happens to you, no one else, so don't waste your life, get up and do something!!
