I am breastfeeding and need to find a dress to wear to a wedding?

Question

I am really struggling to find a suitable dress to wear to an outside wedding in two weeks. Is it just me or is it quite difficult to find suitable dresses if you are breastfeeding and still carrying some of your baby weight???? I have looked everywhere and am really struggling - does anybody have any ideas, ideally i am after a 3/4 sleeve wrap dress but these just dont seem to be stocked anywhere at the moment or am i missing something??? I dont really want to spend huge $$$ becuase i wont be this size forever.
Any suggestions are welcome!

Additional Details

i have also considered that i have some lovely skirts but am struggling to find any tops that would suit and hide my extra weight.

I know your not pregnant anymore, but you still probably find something nice in maternity wear, let me see what I can find....

I was in this dilemma a couple of months ago. I ended up wearing a dress with a zip down the side. It kind of worked but was not the most ideal outfit. I had tried to find a dress with tie up straps on the shoulders, as this was recommended to me and would have been much better, but couldn't find one under $300 in the shops.

I've had good luck with Motherwear and Expressiva. I have good luck finding those brands on eBay as well- many people are in your situation and sell dresses when they're done with them.

A umpire dress works wonders and still looks cute after you loose the weight. This style is fitted around the top and then flows away from the body. These are really in right now with celebrity mommies to mask the belly. Do you have a TJ Maxx, Ross, or Marshall's around you? You can get a designer dress for less than $40.

Also, maybe you can rummage through a girlfriend or sister's closet? It's only for one day and may save you some money that you can use to get accessories and/or your hair done.

P.S. Don't forget to take a pump with you so that you don't get engorged. If you don't have one, sneak in to a bathroom stall and hand express some milk into the toilet...lol! Sounds crazy but I've done it - anything to avoid engorgement!

u could always just express ur milk for this occasion..... or maybe u could by a tie up halter neck or something that has a lower neckline an wear a 3/4 sleeve cardigan over it ......
