What year, make, and model makes the best derby car? I plan on doin it next year. Thanks

Hey what fun!
Search for the Meaty, Mighty, Beast; a 1966-72 Lincoln Continental 2 door or 4 door. This heavy monster will take an enormous amount of abuse and keep on running! Get this car and I bet you will get in the top 3 at the final run. GOOD LUCK!

Check out this vid of a Toyota Hilux.

Top Gear tried their hardest to wreck it, even blowing up a building with it on top!

Probably not the best for demolition derbies unless you lower it a little though.

In the old days, it was the 58-60 T-bird, but they are classics now. I think the 70 's Chevy Monte Carlo is pretty strong with it's resessed radiator and motor.. but still to old, how about a Lincoln Town car from the 80's or 90's they are big brutes..

You might want to google for sites that discuss the pro and cons of certain makes in this respect..
