What's the best cat skin and coat supplement out on the market?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker
Simple salmon oil. It's loaded with with Omega-3 fatty acids. It's not only good for cat and dog coats but it boosts their immunity. Mine get a few squirts of Grizzly Salmon Oil on their canned food and their coats are all silky and shiny - dander is VERY minimal. There's other brands on the market as well. The higher end pet stores carry it and I actually saw it at PetSmart the other day (suprising as they don't tend to carry many quality products for cats).

Don't give cats any supplements, human supplements can be fatal to cats. If you want your cat to have a nice shiny coat, feed him holistic food and don't let him go outside (where he can catch nasty skin diseases and fleas and so on..). Do not give him any grocerie store food!! Buy something like Wellness, which has no animal byproducts and is all natural. That's your best bet. We actually saved our cat with that food after the vet said he needed extensive surgery on his intestines and meds for the rest of his life..... we just switched to wellness and we kept him surgery free, medication free and in good health for another five years.
