Apparently he did. I am listening as I type to see if Nick Cave can make a silk purse out of a sows scribbles. I would probably like The Johnny Cash one better but I love Nick Cave and if it is dreadful he can make dreadful work better than the man in black.

So far Nick couldn't sell it, now I am trying Johnny, and I am finding it something Tom Waits would throw in the dumpster. In fact here is Tom murdering his talent reading Bukowski, even the great TOM WAITS can't turn Bukowski into English.

I am sorry but I find have the occasional good idea or nice turn of phrase does not compensate for diarrhea of the pen the rest of the time. Bukowski is just another beat (which means hypomanic with a pen and a publisher.

The Nick Cave was the best of the lot because i couldn't actually make out the words.
