Is financing a dirt bike a good idea?

i want to get i a yamaha yz250 two stroke dirt bike, i have $3000 saved money is it a good idea to finance the bike

noooo.
dude a bike is a llot of money but you could save up for it all at once.
if you cant afford it then you shouldnt have it.
say you get a job making 200 bucks and month and you get that job just so you can make your payment. then all your money is going for the payment and when something goes wrong with the bike you have no money to fix it.
dont finance it. its not a house its a toy to have fun on.
i suggest you talk to someone who is fiancly smart and have a talk with them.

Well that's really up to you. I mean paying cash will always save you money but that goes for a car, house, boat or whatever. I know Honda is offering 3.9% and I suspect Yamaha may have some good finance options as well. Not too many people have $6000 - $7000 just laying around to pay cash for a new race bike.

it's not a bad thing. just make sure you get a good interest rate. and make sure u read the fine print a lot of places will give you a good rate for a period of time then it jacks up to a crazy %
Just make sure you get it paid off before that happens. Just like anything else you would finance..

depends i finaced a bike and i got an amazing intrest rate and payments are good plus it builds credit so why not easy credit
