Places to stay on the Gold Coast?

Question

Okay so me and two friends were thinking of going to the theme parks in late November, early December (during NSW school term) for our schoolies trip as we aren't into the whole drinking thing. Anyway, we're not exactly rich, so we're looking for cheap places to stay, like a Formule One or something like that but I'm not sure how to look for these things.

Help would be great :p

If youre only going to the theme parks then try looking up places such as southport, main beach, labrador, sanctuary cove. Theyre up the northern end and closest to Movieworld, Wet n wild and Dreamworld.

that is about the time when there will be thousands of schoolies on the goldcoast (yes and expect heaps of drinking)!

Accomadation will probably be booked out now. (you should have done that ages ago)

Hi,

On accomodation, I would suggest for you to stay at Surfers Paradise or Southport. The rates are pretty cheap. To make your tour easier and cheaper, you can talk to your hotel front dest and ask about the Gold Coast Shuttle service or you can take the Surfside bus to go to major theme parks like Dreamworld, Movie World, Wet ‘n’ Wild, WhiteWater World and Australian Outback Spectacular.
