Is 300,000 ks allot for a car?

does it meen the more ks on car the sooner it will die? but if its looked after and serviced all the time will it last longer?

Two arguments for this question, one is that it will be worn out and need lots of repairs.
The other is that everything is used regularly and will be in good condition if servicing was regular and professional.
A V8 with that many kilometres on it however would be marginal, if you buy it, knock the price down because of that and be prepared to spend on a recondition on the LS1.
Me personally wouldn't buy it unless it was really really cheap like $2500 or around thereabouts.
FYI I drive a 2008 FG XR8 Falcon that is just 12 months old and has 22,000km on it.
