CiD popups? I'm using Firefox and get them in Internet Explorer?

Yeah like the question says, they have become really annoying and come up every 5 or so minutes which is aggravating.

The CiD pop-up is an optional sponsor for Windows Live! Plus! (messenger addon). Upon installation it will ask you if you whould show your support by allowing it to install intergrated sponsor support (Adware sanctioned my microsoft).

If you have this installed on your PC just go to Control Panel - add/remove programs - and select Microsoft Live Plus and sometimes you'll get the option of removing the sponsor support only.

Sometimes removing Windows Live! Plus! does not remove the offending advertising...

You need to get a pop up blocker software for windows. I have that and every time a pop up is about to pop it tell me would I want to allow it. I don't know what the software is called but just go to google and type in Windows Pop Up Blocker. Hope this helps.

I looked for a solution to this a long time ago, hopefully now there should be some new software avaliable.
