How do you propose obtaining empirical evidence of an subjective assessment of relative performance?

You could do some surveys, and although the results of this would qualify as "empirical" the actual data is just guesswork and impression.

In my personal experience, not necessarily. Generally people who know what they're doing are better than those who don't.

I think that's down to the individual really.

I'm atheist/Buddhist and have a loving personality 'ie - romantic and affectionate'. I suppose some religious people are too.
