At the game... Tickets and Seats?

AQ) When you go to the game, where do you normally sit (which stadium too) and why do you choose those seats.

BQ) What do you think of the prices charged at the different stadiums and even just for different games at the same stadium. Do you think they are overprice and what's your limit you're prepared to pay.

Additional Details

I mainly go to WIN and WIN Jubilee and a few other Sydney games. I'm a member so get my seating on the Western Concourse at WIN, right next to where the injured and rep players sit.

I always try for the half way line and no more then 12 rows back, usually get it too.

I go to Origin, I go to Internationals, I go to the GF, I'll fly interstate or even overseas for a game. Money doesn't matter to me, I think it's worth it.

Being a pensioner does cut out going NRL games, especially as I am not a Dragons supporter. I sometimes get to Bear Park to watch Norths in the NSW Cup. Sit in the Molly Dye Stand, $11. I do0 go and support the Shellharbour Sharks out at Ron Costello, sit either in the grandstand or seats in front of bar. $3 admission.

I do think NRL prices are a bit pricey.

AQ) It really depends on the game. I mainly go ANZ stadium. I either sit somewhere between the 40m lines or at a side on view of the goal posts. Sitting between the 40m lines is great cause you get a pretty good view of the whole game, not too close or too far from anything, also during Bulldogs home games the energy there is awesome cause they're membership seats. Sitting facing the side of the goal posts gives a great view of tries, sucks when everything is happening on the other side of the field though.

BQ) I don't find the prices that bad the only games that get overpriced are the games like the finals and Origin, and honestly i'm more than willing to pay a little extra for games like these.

AQ) Around the middle of Row 10 in the western stand at Suncorp because that's the seats I have had forever (membership), or front row Southern or Northern stand at Skilled park because it feels so close you can almost touch them haha.

BQ) I'm really happy with the membership deal, and if I go to another game it would only be because it was a final on the coast, or state of origin, in which case I would be happy to pay anything.

AQ- I mainly go to Skilled Park. Whenever the Knights play there I always pay for front row in the away bay to surround myself with other Newcastle fans plus in those seats its a meter away from the in-goals so I get the best view of the tries and its so exciting watching a linebreak and everyone running in your direction but it sucks when they're up the other end of the field, I just have to watch the big screen until they come back lol But yeah always in the away bay when Knights play, but any other game I usually try to get in the first few rows around half way (like in the All Stars game coming up, I got my ticket front row on the 40m line.)

BQ- I get in for free at Suncorp but I know at Skilled they are pretty good, I don't know how it compares to other stadiums but for seats behind the posts its only 30 bucks, not the best seat in the house for the whole 80mins but for that price I couldn't be happier paying. But for the All Star game for example I paid just under 60 bucks, whenever there is a big event at Suncorp or Skilled, I'm basically prepared to pay anything for a good seat, no limits but its gotta be worth it lol

Im not answering your question Mel, Im admiring your commitment to the development of the code. Here's the disconnect. The NRL Code dont control the venues. That'd be like owning a business but not the land, the owner of the lease dictates the shots, Not on my watch. This is a solid question, but give us solutions to how it can become more affordable, to generate more traffic. You need to start a forum, where we can all contribute and nut out solutions, because the NRL Board dont. Rupert Murdoch is worrying about his cost vs income, another fat cat that actually loves the game needs to step up.

I like to be near the half way line.

At CUA Stadium, I get general admission seats which are $10. Pretty cheap compared to the grand stand. Still get seats, but can sit on the hill if I want. Sometimes if security move from the entrance into the grand stand, we sneak in and sit up there.

we used to go to olympic park and sit right on the try line, it costs $46 for our family of six to get in, which is a cheap day out considering they have things for the kids to do and always hand out something every game, we'll see how much the new stadium costs nxt yr

AQ) usually sit in the Season Ticket holders seats when I go to watch the Knights play at EAS & I chose those seats because I get in free with a junior league player pass for GA & just sit on em anyways.

BQ) I get in any NRL game for free so I really don't notice..

AQ) Brooky, SFS, ANZ, Parra Stadium
Usually sit in GA, best place and can't be stuffed forking out more.

BQ) I'd pay the amount which is fair for the position, like I won't pay say $50 to sit on the hill at B.O lol

On the hill at Kograh of course!!!!!!!

Why? Because its the only place i'm allowed to go when i use my free entry footy card. I could just jump the barrier to get to the seats i guess, but I don't mind the hill
