Question about the Olympics in Brazil?

Question

I was thinking about going to the upcoming Olympics in Brazil, but I don't want to get shot or have my plane hijacked or blown out of the sky? Is there any way I could bring my own weapons for self defense to Brazil or if the United States military could have some surface-to-surface missiles installed to deter or possibly destroy the anti-air weaponry that those troublemakers have in Brazil?

How about you speak in some understandable English before you reply? Brazil isn't even a fully industrialized country let alone a safe one.

you live in the usa, why dont you become scare of living there? I live in NYC and when I visit uptate or dominican republic I feel safe. Nothing is going to happpen in brazil.

who is going to hijack a plane in brazil? what for? not "the enemies" of the UNITED STATES for sure. it is not brasil's problems.

I think the troublemakers are IN THE USA. WHO breed ignorant people to believe that every other country is horrible and not safe. I know brazil has bad things but damn, you dont need to bring in weapons because then you will be like the criminals you are trying to avoid. Nothing will happen to you if you dont do something stupid.

I am scare of living in NYC..I live in Manhattan so is even more scary that the twin towers were at the other end of the island...and manhattan is not that big in reality. the twin towers in train is like 45 minutes away.

The Brazilians are sensible that way. They kill their own country people, they won't do it to outsiders, especially for sport. And it's evident from the cleaning up with the drug cartel.

You can't even enter the olympic games with a gun.. they will kick you out.. And call olympic police.... Who would then call Rio Police.. (who aren't that nice.
