What is it with Rangers and Germans?

Question

A couple of years ago they were doing hitler salutes and a couple of weeks ago, Rangers fans were giving Celtic their money by buying away seats at Celtic Park and now this plonker calls Hamburg "the german rangers" have i missed something??

Are Rangers just determined to cause trouble wherever Celtic are involved...or indeed a game themselves (last night)??

"The German Rangers" - it's not a valid term, they are Hamburg if Celtic were playing Barcelona, would they be "The Spanish Rangers" it's complete nonsence is what it is and if i may, can i ask why you bring Celtic into your answer? They are not the issue, it is sad fans like you that rangers probably don't need, you hate the opposition more than you like your own team, like most Old Firm fans, it's pathetic.

The Nazi's werent they those people who murdered millions, my isn't that a proud thing to boast about. Rangers fans and the Nazi salute disgusting considering Rangers fans are condeming celtic fans for booing this Sunday before it even happens. Remember this the ones who give Nazi salutes, those Fcukin Nazis had a hand in the deaths of thousands of the people the minutes silence is for. The way I see it is why would Rangers fans condemn us when some of their own fans disgrace the memory of dead servicemen who gave thier lives to prevent the Nazi's ruling us. Smacks of hyprocisy.

Rangers fans NEVER do Hitler saltues so get it right - why would such a staunchly British support be doing that? Thats lies.

And as for "this plonker" try doing some research into the Rangers/Hamburg links. The supporters of both teams have had strong links for many years, there is an HSV supporters club in Glasgow and a Rangers supporters club in Hamburg.

and rangers fans have a connection with hamburg fans. hamburg are known to be a very right winged and racist club....so are rangers.

celtic fans have a connection with st. pauli fans, hamburgs rivals. st.pauli are seen as a left winged club and their support is against fascism and racism, just like some celtic groups for example, the green brigade.
