Sam has lost her match against Maria J M S . So I would like to know if she has a chance to be in the semis? really appreciated for ur ans

No, Martinez Sanchez won both her round robin match meaning she advances. This is absolutely ridiculous that she is losing to these types of players. She is just so inconsistent. I'm a big fan of Stosur but it's annoying when she gets beaten by players such as Martinez Sanchez. Oh well, good luck for next year.

well we know she just does not have the mental strength of a true top 10. such as a serena williams or justine henin. they have the skill and ability plus the mental side of the game..which sadly stosur does not. she has only won one small title. just not good enough that why she lose to player like maria JMS. but good luck in 2010

THI IS KINDA RIDICLOUS.. STOUSOUR LOSING..
she has enough potential to hit with the big names in tennis like at the slams..

and yet she lost to martina sanchez.. perhaps she thought it was going to be too easy..
