The first picture is definitely panels material sown together in rows and attached to the bodice! The second picture is a long dress with ruffles attached to the skirt of the dress. In order to get the ruffled look you have to cut out over-sized half moon shaped peices of material and as you sew them on gather them at the base.Sign in to vote!
