India do have a good women's team, and could beat teams like Australia. But still the women's teams of Australia, NZ and England are superior to their Asian counterparts. Sri Lanka and Pakistan too have women's teams, but they are not competitive enough.

The bowling of Indian women as good, but batting has to improve. They have to play more like Virender Sehwag to raise their game. Now they play like Rahul Dravid. Women's Cricket should be developed from School level and the best talent has to be found and brought forward. As of now, only a privileged few are going on to represent India in women's cricket. It's not the best talent available in India, it's just the best of what is known. BCCI can pitch in here.
