Leotards that are short cut style?

For trampolining competitions (regionals N.I) , it says in the rules that the leotard can be sleeveless , 3/4 length or full sleve for girls but dosent mention if the leotards with shorts instead of bikini cut are allowed. anyone shed some light on this?

im in gymnastics but i don't think you should, im not sure if they are allowed but they look kind of ugly. that's what lots of little girls wear and especially if you are going to regionals i wouldn't advise wearing one.
