It's about time. I'd given up hope on this one being solved. Like all violent criminals, I only wish that his punishment would be the exact same thing he did to that poor girl...Hog-tied, raped, beaten by some roughneck inmates in prison. Hey it happened to Jeffrey Dahmer.

Glad they caught the bastard. Hope he gets more than 7 years, though. Right now, all they have to positively charge him with is improper disposal of a body (or something like that). But, they say that innocent people don't run.

It was long overdue.
I'm not sure why they hid his alias for so long.. but they should have released it earlier.
And as the first commenter said, it's a shame he will probably only get sentenced for improper disposal of the body.

It will be interesting to finally hear what exactly went on with this case, and I hope that more people out here will be more careful in the future. There is no way a young girl in a foreign country should go into the home of an unknown guy, student or not. Even at NOVA there were rules and rules tend to be there for a reason.
