After reading too much about Chiropractic, I have come to the conclusion that you shouldn’t go through this alternative medicine. As you know, in this method, you go through the manipulation of your musculoskeletal system which may come handy. I am not saying it’s not a good alternative. People do talk about it and they say that they were cured but that’s just for some specific time. But after few days, the problem reappears. This gets suspicious then.
Every problem in our body whether it’s related to our bones or muscles or any other organ/system is because of some disorder which is on cellular level and the basic reason of that is the molecular disorder in our cells and tissues.
I’d like to suggest you to go to some bone specialist/general physician so that you are first diagnosed. Most of the time such cases are because of the shortage of blood in the body, insufficient food etc. Hormonal changes are also one of the biggest reasons.
I hope you will feel okay when you are diagnosed and treated nicely by good doctors.
May Allah Give you health and a happy life, amen.

I am too scared of it as I believe it is based on unsound pseudoscience.

Therefore I cannot speak from experience but I would stil advise against it. I believe physical therapy (under medical supervision based on what your diagnosis is) is better.

Chiropractic definitely helped me, and I'm missing bones in my back. As for your neck, it depends on what the problem is. A good chiropractor in your area should be able to tell you if they can help. Get recommendations from people locally. Always be 100% honest with your chiro about any procedures you've had done already.

Chiropractors believe they can cure anything by subluxing the bones in your spine. Today, such unsound belief has boiled down to them curing neck/back pain. However, this is almost as unsound as them curing blindness or deafness by back-cracking. In short, Chiropractic is a cult belief not based on sound science, but rather old theories that have long ago been claimed quackery by science-based medical practitioners.

I love my chiropractor. #1 He should take x-rays. #2 you should not remove your clothes to be adjusted. Don't let any body touch you with an x-ray first. If you can find a chiropractor that uses median therapy I believe they are the best. I think there is only one school in the states for that but not sure. Ask people to recommend a chiropractor. And check to see how much business they have that will tell you if they are good. And check their prices usually the cheaper ones are the ones that really want to help people. I would rather go to a chiropractor than a regular doctor. And remember it takes time many people think they can go one time and that's it. Not true You do have to go when they tell you. And many times the treatment is temporary is because they don't do exercises to strengthen the back muscle to hold the back in place. And yes you do have to go back to get adjustments just like you have to go back to see your doctor, but a chiropractor will give you different ways to help yourself and he will tell you if you need to see a back surgeon. If he is good. You will learn when you need to go back you will learn how to read your body. And getting your bones and joints adjusted will help your health in many many different ways.

I don't have any personal experience with chiros but I have heard that the only thing they're good for is lower back pain. Yet still, I would hesitate sending a patient to one of them and would rather refer to a physical therapist. Don't let anyone manipulate your neck as the neck as many structures than can be damaged and cause stroke or further neck pain.

Read the article below and decide for yourself.

Edit: Wilson: Weekly vaccinations?! What the heck are you talking about? Vaccine schedules are not weekly. You obviously have no idea what you're talking about.

The only thing chiropractic seems to have any real benefit on is uncomplicated lower back pain and compared with physical therapy in that particular complaint, the physical therapy did better.

Chiropractic can make a person feel somewhat better after an appointment, but they aren't actually fixing anything. People who go to them always report positive feelings, but their conditions are not fixed, especially complicated ones, like asthma. None of the studies I've read show any real benefit for using this, but it shows a lot of potential harm.

All medical interventions have risks, but chiropractic has way more chance of doing harm than doing lasting good.

Yes, I can say that my family and I have been helped very much by a couple of different chiropractors. Although I realize that with anything, there can be some who are not genuine or skilled, I have been very pleased.
Chiropractic can be an excellent solution as long as no pre-existing fracture has ever occured in the region you are having adjusted.

    Best wishes.

The only answer to chronic Neck pain is chiropractic treatment. Beside this you can take precautions like hard bed and avoiding a pillow.

You can use a chiropractic table to do some chiropractic exercises. Some portable chiropractic tables are available in market.

    Here is one such company.
