Theme music from... olympics?

Hi! This has been bugging me a long time. Where did this theme music come from?!!?! I hear a snippet here and there and never can find out what it's called or where it is from... the only thing I can find online is this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lu8pwuqXh…
They are playing it from the beginning till about 30 seconds in. Wish I could come up with something better, but I don't know what I'm looking for.

Thanks all!

I can't access Youtube from my computer, but I am willing to bet you are thinking of the song which NBC uses for most of its Olympic coverage. That song, which is called the "Olympic Fanfare and March" was written for the 1984 games in LA by American composer John Williams. Maestro Williams has also written a huge number of other famous works- he is the composer of the themes from Star Wars( all 6 movies), the "Raiders of the Lost Ark" triology, all the "Superman" movies, ET, and a whole host of others- and this is in addition his being a highly succesful and sought after conductor.

Does this help?

Source(s):

I have most of maestro Williams' works on CD.
