I like this guy... Does he like me?

Question

I like this guy, and from my interpretations, he might like me.
We are in a few clubs together. And one day at one of the meetings, which he was helping to run, he kept staring at me. Eye contact was made. He seemed to be looking at me like I was the only one in the room he cared about. He did a similar thing at a meeting I ran, a different club, but I was attempting to stay focused on the task at hand, so I didn't notice as much.
The other day, a mutual friend of ours jokingly asked him out in an odd way. He replied with No of course, joking back. But then his eyes flicked right over to me. I didn't imagine that, I'm sure. I've been told that might mean something good.
But lately it has been a little odd. Like he is avoiding me. We have the same after school activity now, winter season just started. And the first day he kind of avoided me. But we accidentally bumped into each other and had a quick "Oh! Sorry!" conversation then. And I kept catching him looking at me, I'm pretty sure. And today he didn't talk to me again, but he came and sat two chairs away from me. I started a quick conversation there and he seemed happy to talk, but then we went back to not talking, cause we were watching something.
So what do you think? Is he just being shy? Do you think he likes me? I'm so confused!

Oh yeah, take it from me. Us soft-spoken, shy guys have ways of showing who we're attracted to. The number one signs happen to be staring, and eyes flicking in the direction of our crushes. You didn't imagine anything, he's just too shy to act on his actions. Ask him out for something, it's not that wierd for the girl to make the first move. You won't be sorry!

Well lets get the last horse to cross the finish line. Yes he likes you staring is always a good sign. He may just be shy. Just slowly becomes friends with him then see if you like him really. I hope rachel answers this <3 haha btw wtf is up with the dude selling the fake jeans n crap.

He seems shy. Just be confident and go over to him and just start up a conversation. He kind of sounds mysterious. I think he does like you, but is a little shy. Good luck!

I really have a good feeling that he likes you. He might just be a little shy! But I think you should go for it if you really like him. I definitely think he has feelings for you. :) Good luck!

Guys look at girls they like. I've stared at my fair share. what you do is smile at them when they walk past or when you see them. Laugh at their jokes even if the only reason they're funny is because of how bad they are. the one thing a guy hates is having a girl he likes not smile at him or laugh at his jokes. Then find an excuse to get his #. use his job to your advantage. ask him to lunch or dinner or coffee.

It seems quite possible that he likes you, but even so we can never know for sure in till we ask. If he is happy to talk to you it's a good sign, and if he is not quick to end the conversation that means he is not avoiding you because he does not like you. It is more than likely he is just shy, most guys are when it comes to these things. Those simple glances could mean a lot or a little, you really never know what is going on in someone else's head.

But my true advice to you is, if you really like him you should be up front and ask him out (I know easier said than done, but a little pep talk to yourself before you ask him out never hurts) Like most guys they are really shy and are afraid of being rejected. But you have to think, the worst thing that could happen is he says no. It will hurt, I'm not lying but it will not be the end of the world . Just go for it! Good luck!
