Theres this girl ive been texting for at least a week now and I think shes really cute. We go to the same school and she seems to be interested in conversing with me since she texts me alot. When do you think it would be a good time to ask her out and how can I tell if she has any kind of interest in me before i do?

if she is texting you alot then she is interested.
& trying to carry on a conversation w/ you all the time, esp. if its about like nothing.

& if i were you i'd do it before she loses interest but not way too soon?
give it like a week or so?

just continue talking to her, but also hang out with her at school and if you get the vibe that she likes you, then ask her out on a date and go from there! i hope this helps you.

you should definetly hang out with her in person first..... that way yyou can get to know who she really is in perso and not thru writing......... after you guys feel more comfortable with your own personalities, then ask her
