What is likely to happen to Matt Orford?

Question

He seems to be stuck with his career move. Its all depend on Bulls offer, looks like they might not be able to sign on for Orford. If then I doubt he would want to be back with Sea Eagles, pay cut?? I would blame his manager for not checking the details out.. Let me know your thoughts.

I think Bradford will pay out Chris Walker's contract and sign Orford.

I want him back at Manly. Hodkinson and Foran haven't formed a combo before and Lyon - Foran probably won't work out. If Ox goes though, maybe even Daly Cherry-Evans will have to be pushed into the halfback position.

Bradford will pay out walker so orford can play. Essentially walker will get paid to do nothing, which is the same as if he played with them anyway.

No Brainer.. Bulls will pay a small amount of compensation $ to Walker and the Titans will sign him again on a performance basis.
Orford will go to the EPL but he wont have the impact that people are saying cause he's simply not that good!!!!

I agree with those who think that Bradford will pay out Walker ( which they have to do given that a legal contract has been signed ) and go ahead with the Orford deal. The whole saga paints a pretty poor picture of the integrity of the Bradford club though, you don't sign a player to a contract and then attempt to welch on it because you decide that there is another player that you want.
I don't think that Orford's manager is in any way reponsible.

Orford will fill Bradford's quota. Technically, if Walker was paid for his contract, then he would be employed by the Bulls and there would be no room for Orford under the foreign player quota.

This is a massive can of worms for Rugby League players in general. I know players don't honour contracts at the moment, by signing with other clubs and codes despite being on contract, but if clubs can stockpile contracts and then not activate those contracts... I'm just glad it'll never be an issue for me.
