Can anyone explain this?

Today the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's blue ribbon radio program - 'Grandstand' conducted a snap poll on whether Test Cricket should be played as opposed to the shorter versions.

As of 1700 AEST, the results were that 77% of respondents preferred Test Cricket.

Why is the attendance of Test Cricket in Australia pathetically low as opposed to the shorter game?

Or, is it because Australians are full of bullsh-t and are too lazy to get off their backsides to support the game in the longer version?

Well?

I do. When it's in Sydney. Maybe it's too expensive for some people, or they have work. People do have lives to live you know....
