after the comeback vs verdasco it will be very difficult for nadal to take #1. roger started the tournament 945 points in front and is now 1145 ahead cos rafa hasn't played yet. rafa will need to win at least 2 RR matches and then the whole tournament to have a chance at ending #1 :):):)

he will finsih as number 1 because he is ahead too far......
unless he buckles and chokes.. and the rest of the field gets really good and starts blowing him away...

he has to place very poorly in slams not to finish number 1
